Locally Owned And Operated
Ace A/C of Ocala is locally owned and operated and has served residents and businesses in Central Florida since 2005.
Jeff, the owner and founder of Ace A/C of Ocala, is a veteran who served his country in Iraq in the 1990’s. He knows what it is to sacrifice and work hard. He’s passionate about giving back, especially to those who have served. He gives generously to Veterans Helping Veterans, whose main office is in Ocala, Florida as well as giving to Wounded Warrior Project.
It’s about service and not being afraid of hard work.
Jeff shares a story, that gives you an insight into the heart of his company;
“A couple of years ago another a/c company went out to the home of a World War II veteran and condemned their 2 ton a/c unit and quoted them $6,000 to install a new one. This elderly couple, in their 90’s at the time couldn’t afford it. This man had landed on the beaches of Normandy on a wooden glider. They couldn’t afford a new unit.
Vets Helping Veterans gave me a call and conveyed the story. I sent one of my technicians to see the unit and he spoke of these wonderful people who were suffering in the heat. It was typical Florida summer and it was hot. The unit cost to replace their unit was just under $1,000. Why would another company mark up their prices like that to a retired WWII veteran, or anyone for that matter? I don’t know, but we put in that a/c unit for them. The elderly gentleman was cranky and frustrated and asked the cost. I told him he’d already paid for it and thanked him for his service.”
Giving back doesn’t end there for the owner of Ace A/C. Jeff has helped out fellow contractors he’s dealt with; one in particular from Lakeland, Florida whose wife was diagnosed with cancer. He dropped his business caring for his wife, who later lost her battle. Jeff helped him get back in business. “Life is hard and it takes a community helping each other.”

Veterans Helping Veterans
Marion County Veterans Helping Veterans, Inc provides social service contacts to veterans and their families including counseling, referral, advocacy, and direct social service assistance, including food, clothing, gasoline vouchers, and limited financial assistance for such items such as rent, utilities, special dietary needs. They have assisted veterans in finding employment, through counseling and networking on their behalf.
They coordinate with the Marion County School District and legislators to bring veterans into the classroom to educate both staff and students as to the contributions of veterans to America. They also educate the public and community at large through the media, speaking engagements, workshops, and a weekly radio program informing veterans and their families as to their benefits as well as services available to them through other agencies.
The funds donated to this organization help veterans in Marion County and Ace A/C of Ocala has worked closely with them to help has he is able.
